Dr Lutfi Rahimi has over six years of experience as an economist working in the public and private sectors. His previous experiences include working as a researcher at the Biruni Institute of Economics and Policy, as senior policy advisor to the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan, as a tax consultant with the World Bank, and as assistant professor of economics at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).
Dr Rahimi holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He has a BSc from University of Essex and MSc from University of Exeter, both in economics.
